Welcome

Welcome to Your Healing Journey 🌿

I’m so glad you’re here.

There is something I want us to remember as we begin: the capacity for healing has been within us all along.

Trauma can shape the ways our brains, bodies, and nervous systems respond to the world. When we understand those responses, we can begin to listen differently; to our bodies, our stories, and the wisdom that has been there beneath the noise.

We are not here to become someone new. We are here to reconnect with ourselves.

Together, we will explore our nervous systems, make sense of our trauma responses, and discover the tools that help us move toward greater safety, regulation, connection, and healing.

There may be hard moments. There may be unexpected discoveries. There may even be a little dirt under our fingernails along the way.

But we’ll take it one step at a time, with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to listen inward.

The power to heal isn’t something we have to find outside of ourselves. It’s something we can learn to access, nurture, and trust.

Welcome to the journey. 🌻

About

I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to be exactly where we are and we realize we do not have to figure it all out alone.

With more than two decades of clinical experience working with trauma, I’ve learned that there is nothing inherently broken about us. Our brains and bodies have been doing amazing things to protect us. When we understand why we respond the way we do, we can begin to meet ourselves with curiosity instead of shame.

My work blends trauma science and evidence-based clinical practices with nervous system regulation, somatic healing, intergenerational trauma, faith, spirituality, and a deep respect for the wisdom our bodies carry.

I created these classes to make trauma education feel less clinical and a whole lot more human. We will learn, get curious, ask hard questions, and explore what healing can look like without pretending it’s a straight line.

There’s no shame here.

No judgment.

No expectation that we have to have it all figured out.

Just a place for us to slow down, understand ourselves a little better, and reconnect with the innate capacity for healing that has been within us all along.

Trauma education with a little dirt under its fingernails, and that feels very authentic to me. 🌿
